Our collapsible colanders, for instance, are a kitchen essential. The 5-quart collapsible colander is perfect for draining pasta or rinsing dried beans, fruits, or vegetables. This collapsible colander performs all the same functions as a standard colander, but its flexible sides allow it to fold to 1/3 of its original size, taking up less space on the shelf or in the cabinet. It can even be cleaned in the dishwasher in the collapsed position.
The specially designed hole pattern in the base of the colander allows water to drain quickly and easily, while the rigid design allows the colander to stand on its own. Collapsing flat for compact storage and cleaning, the colander measures approximately 12.5 inches by 13.5 inches, and 6 inches high when expanded, saving approximately 2/3 more space when storing. Dishwasher safe, the collapsible colander is a versatile and space-saving kitchen essential.
